“ While traveling with work, I saw The Barn Restaurant on Google. My coworker said it was very good. I was met at the counter by a very nice lady who took my order. I was indecisive, the other lady said "you want the fried chicken" so i ordered that. Then came the side, she said "you want yhe mashed potatoes & gravy", sobi ordered that too. Both were delicious! The restaurant is very clean & the employees there are very friendly. The others dining there were nice too. I' not just coming back, I'll bring my family with me next time. ”

“ What an awesome restaurant! When you go in, you order your food at the front and then set down and wait for your number to be called, which is really easy and convenient. Service is so friendly and everything is clean. The food was awesome. My wife and i had a footlong hotdog, and we split a philly cheese steak with onion rings and mac and cheese.. i knowit'ss ALOT of food, and it was all great.. i highly recommend this place! Oh, i almost forgot they have a lot of dessert options, and we got coffee cake and a coconut cake to go. I haven't tried them but they look delicious! ”

I was doing a Door Dash delivery here and while waiting on the order, a nice gentleman behind the counter asked me if I would care for a drink while I wait. I thought that was super sweet and only something a real small town restaurant would offer. My family of 4 came in a few weeks later to give it a try. It was delicious. It is a 'seat yourself' restaurant, which i think helps on the cost of food. Very affordable compared to many chain places. Also, my sister lives in Staunton, and each time she visits us she has to go to The Barn and get her some chicken lol! ”

“ This is the old Early Dawn Dairy from the 50's . Great food, prices are okay, very clean. Ordered the steak and cheese sub, very tender and tasty. Fries were delicious and crisp. Sweet Tea is really refreshing. All and all, this is a great place to eat and meet. ”
